Okay, I have some news! We are planning on expanding our nest of four into a nest of five! That’s right, we want to try for another baby. Because for some reason, we are crazy enough to think our two little rascals aren’t enough, ha! Just kidding, our two little guys are amazing boys and we are so lucky to be their parents! My husband Christopher and I talked a lot about our desire to expand our family – and we are finally ready to try for baby #3. The timing is perfect for us. For our upcoming pregnancy, we sat down and tried to figure out the three major areas we needed to focus on to help out fertility…

Taking A Prenatal Vitamin
With this next pregnancy, I want to get my body ready with the Perfect Prenatal. I want to give our baby the best start in life, and do better to ensuring I’m receiving all of the important vitamins and nutrients my diet might be missing. I’m really excited to have found New Chapter’s Perfect Prenatal vitamin. I love this vitamin because it contains all of the critical ingredients for healthy fetal development (like folate, vitamin D3, and iron!). These vitamins also contain NO sugar or gelatin – only whole-food ingredients that are pure and fermented for easier digestion.
I feel assured that I’m receiving everything I need for our little one’s brain, spinal cord, and development throughout our upcoming pregnancy.
I’m just thrilled to be getting my body ready for conception. I’ve already been taking this prenatal, and have found that I already have so much more energy (which all pregnant women could use more of, right?) thanks to its inclusion of fermented B vitamins. Growing an entire human being can be really exhausting. I have a feeling this future pregnancy is going to be bit tiring with two little boys to keep up with, so those B vitamins should come in handy!
Other than taking these appropriately named Perfect Prenatals from New Chapter Vitamins, my husband and I are trying to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into our diet while cutting out sugars. This one has been incredibly hard for me. We both have a real sugar tooth…and a Chinese food addiction. But a balanced and controlled diet boosts fertility, so we’re making big changes! Chris has already been on this diet, but I’ve been slacking. His support and encouragement always helps me though, and he’s been really great about gently reminding me to put down the fruit snacks and pick up some real fruit instead ;). I’m slowly working my way into healthier foods so I don’t quit cold turkey and end up eating an entire container of cheese puffs. It’s happened before, I’m sorry to say!
We have both decided to start working out as well, with me doing yoga, and him working out on the stationary bike. We’re both gearing up our fertility the best we can. It’s still really important for him to do as much as I am, so all of his ‘baby dust’ is as healthy as can be ;).
“All it takes is faith, trust, and a little baby dust…”
